Our Healthy Halloween Guide

As Halloween approaches, KISO Swim School thought of some fun ways to stay healthy for this festive holiday. We've found three party ideas and two great hand out treats that we'd love to share.

Jello is fun to eat, yet aren't always the healthiest choice for your little ones. These healthy jigglers are not only made with natural fruits and juices, but are super fun for the fall time!

CC: Dine and Dish - http://dineanddish.net/2014/10/halloween-party-idea-frankenguac/

Heres a fun spooky idea for a Halloween party. Frankenguac is cute, quirky and also healthy! Swap out your average chip dipping choices with this fun Halloween guacemole!

Popcorn Hands

CC: Yummy Healthy Easy - http://www.yummyhealthyeasy.com/2013/10/halloween-candy-corn-popcorn-hands.html

Candy corn popcorn hands are a great hand out for halloween. Candy corn of course is optional for a bit of sweetness, or even drizzle some dark chocolate on your popcorn to add some yummy antioxidants.

Vegan Candy

CC: Peta Kids - petakids.com/food/vegan-candy-dandy

Check out PETA's website for all the candy you didnt know was vegan. You wouldnt believe what a lot of regular candy has in it! Take a look at some candy choices that are both animal and kid friendly.

Even though it is Halloween we believe you can have some fun tasty treats that are also healthy. The instructors at KISO Swim School do their best to promote a healthy and active lifestyle, while also advocating water safety. With one-third of adolescents in the United States overweight or obese, we've found some alternatives from your usual candy bars and GMO products to help lower the growing statistics. We hope you enjoy them and have a SPOOKTACKULAR Halloween Holiday!
