KISO WATER SAFETY PROJECTS
The KISO Water Safety Projects are designed to teach children across the globe the basics of learning how to survive in water through take-home packets and hands on swim clinics. Implementing Levels 1-3 from the KISO Swim School Progression Chart, each project strives to ensure the children successfully adapt to water safety skills that will not only potentially save their life, but offer a swimming experience to last a lifetime.
It is our goal to travel worldwide and share our knowledge of swimming through this unique program. Every other year, KISO Swim School will have a new project. By bringing together schools, families and the community, day clinics will be ran focusing on water safety, including: movement and breath control, floating, safety equipment use and introducing the foundations of both Freestyle & Backstroke. Clinics are taught efficiently, covering all bases, as well as effectively, with techniques to fully engage children's interests. It is our goal to not only ensure each child has a blast while learning, but also provide proper skills so the experience of the sport will stay with them for a lifetime.
