Palm Beach water safety Project 2016

A big thanks to those that came out to the KISO Palm Beach Swim Project 2016! We had a blast providing some water safety skills and swimming instruction.

With beautiful weather, the event promoted water safety for children ages 3 and 12 years old, that coincided with National Water Safety Month.

This fun and educational event had approximately 15 kids in attendance and started with a water safety importance presentation by Palm Beach County firefighter Bob Lemons. The children then took what they learned about water safety to the pool. A giant swim lesson was held with instructors teaching children the basics with key components of water safety skills. Fun paddleboard rides were given at the end of their lesson. Lastly, a raffle giveaway was conducted and the winner received a water safety goodie bag filled with sunscreen, a water bottle and a free private swim lesson with KISO Swim School. A generous donation from Panera was provided for lunch. All kids in attendance received a Water Safety Certificate to vow they will do their part and stay water smart this summer.

A special "Thank You" to the KISO Swim School Instructors, volunteers, Palm Beach County Firefighter Mr. Bob Lemons, Panera Bakery and our other generous donors for helping make the event a success. Don’t miss out on this fun educational event next year!
