Miami water safety

Project 2014

This Summer 2014, we hosted the first ever local swim project in the heart of Miami, Florida and it did not disappoint!

The KISO MIAMI Swim Project 2014 opened doors at the University of Miami Aquatic Facility, welcoming children ages 1-14 years old to the complimentary community event. Water safety education was provided through a fun-filled day clinic of informational talks by KISO Owner, Kristin Gilliam, and one of Miami's most honorable firefighters, Javier Perez.

Proceeding talks, a giant swim lesson was organized by ages as children had the chance to learn important water safety skills in the pool and have some fun play time with top professional swimmers. Olympic special guests, Katie Hoff, Brett Fraser and Shaune Fraser spoke briefly and had fun working with the kids who participated.

To wrap up the event, we held a raffle with great giveaways for the children to take home and enjoyed breakfast goodies donated by Panera.

We look forward to hosting our next KISO Swim Project in 2016. Don't miss this amazing opportunity to experience for a lifetime and help save lives!
